Bilaspur. Law of Right to Education was passed with a vision to spread education all across state but thousands of kids seem to be deprived of its benefits. The Education department initially aimed to provide admission to 3000 children in 182 private institutions under Free and Compulsory Education but only 1412 kids have been given admission in these private institutions.

RTE law was established in 2010 and was intended to provide education to poor kids from every family overcoming all the financial obstacles that comes along proper education. But due to some irregularities in implementing RTE rules, education is not reaching to many such kids.

The assistant director of education department & nodal officer of RTE Smt. M.Thakur said that they have put all possible efforts and helped many children get admission in private schools whose parents have applied.

The Assistant Project Coordinator Manoj Rai told that the Right to Education law is not limited to only free education but it also includes necessary amenities at school include school building, play ground, toilet, laboratories and library.
