Girls outbeat boys in High School Certificate Examination
Korba. High School Certificate Examination 2013 result of the district remained 56.27 per cent. On Thursday, Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) declared the result, in the district the result was declared by District Collector Rajat Kumar.
District Education Officer P D Ogre was also present on the occasion. Declaring the result, the Collector extended his greetings towards all the successful students and wished for their bright future.
According to information received, overall 20,330 regular students registered for the examination. Among them 20,005 students were present during the examination. Result of 10,947 students among the students who gave the examination, was declared. Among them, 1,563 students secured first position, 2,587 students secured first position, 2,587 students secured second position and 6,701 students secured third position. While 1,149 students are eligible for compartmental examination, 374 students have got only pass marks. Only 11,225 students have passed the examination. Among all the passed students, girls secured 57.36 percent while boys secured 55.11 percent.
Students required to submit information within ten days
Korba. Instructions for the online broadcast of the academic and personal information about students studying between standard I to XII in Government, non-government and CBSE schools have been issued by Education Department recently. In this regard, department has ordered the submission of the required information about the studetns within next 10 days.
School managements have been instructed to initially submit the required information at their cluster level officers so that students can be immediately provided with the unique codes to access the website and take the information about teachers including birth date, education, number of transfers, awards received, penalties charged, promotion, demotion, seniority and other also needs to be submitted to the department.
District Project Coordinator, District Education Officer and Assistant Commissioner (Tribal Welfare) will be reviewing the documents submitted. Schools that fail to follow the orders will have to face dire consequences and department will take stringent action against the ignorant school management.
Later, State-level secretary of School Education Department will be reviewing the process. In this regard, officials will be frequently enquiring the proceedings on their level. Online portal will help the children as well as students to access the latest information about the school.
Entrance examination for Physiotherapy on June 18
Durg. Chhattisgarh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (CG Vyapam) will conduct the entrance examinations for BPT (Physiotherapy) and PVT (Veterinary/Fisheries) on June 18. Examination centres in Chhattisgarh have been set up in four cities including Raipur, Bilaspur, Ambikapur and Jagdalpur. Application forms have been available at the main post offices of District from May 21. Last date of submission of application forms is June 1.
Examination will be conducted in two shifts on June 18. First examination will be conducted for subjects including Physics and Chemistry from 9 am to 11:15 am while in the second shift from 3 pm to 5:15 pm, examinations including Biology and Botany Science.
Application fee for candidates under unreserved and OBC caste category would be Rs. 500 while for candidates under SC/ST category would be Rs. 350
