Students who were not able to appear in the merit list of 10th and 12th board examinations will also be honoured as Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is planning to honour students scoring 75% as well. This plan is likely to be implemented in the board examinations to be held next year.
President of Mashim K.D.P. Rao informed that only a few students make their positions in the merit list every year and the new plan would help encourage other promising students also.
Mandal therefore, has decided to honor students who have scored 75% marks in their 10th or 12th board examinations.
Currently, about 25 students come appear in the top ten list of 10th and 12th board examinations.
Raipur. Last day for those who have failed the 10th board examination to apply under credit scheme would be Monday i.e. on June 30.
A new arrangement has been started by Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal (CG Mashim) to help provide more opportunities to those who have failed board examinations.
This will allow the failed students to appear in the supplementary test taken by other students.
Application may be submitted until July 5 after Monday with a late fee of Rs. 500.
Raipur. Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal (CG Mashim) has announced the time-table for the supplementary, private and correspondence 2nd and 4th chance examination of 10th and 12th grades.
10th and 12th board examinations will be held from July 23. 10th board examination will be held until August 2 and 12th board exam will end on August 5. Examination will be conducted from 10 am to 1:30 pm.
About 31,694 students have been declared eligible for 12th board examination while 34,282 students have been declared eligible for 34,282 10th board exam which means a total of 65,963 students will appear in both examinations.
Raipur. Great news for students who have failed 10th or 12th board examinations conducted by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE). These students will not be required to wait for an entire year to appear in the main examinations to clear the subjects but with the new process designed by board, students will need to appear in only those exams which they have failed through correspondence.
Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal (Mashim) has started credit plan for students in their 10th and 12th grade. Students who have failed in either 10th or 12th board examination will be allowed three chances to clear their exams.
First chance will be given in the same session during the supplementary examinations held in July-August, second chance in the next session during main examinations that are held in March and third chance during the supplementary examination held in July-August.
Mark-list for 12th board examination will be distributed from June 7 this year. Those who have failed in the 12th board exams will be able to apply for credit plan until June 20.
Date of application for credit plan for 10th board students will be declared once the results are out. Officials informed that under the credit plan, there will be no examination conducted separately and students may appear with those appearing in supplementary examination.
Officials also informed that those appearing in examination under credit plan will experience a change in their mark-sheet i.e. the medium for appearing in the examination will be changed to correspondence from being regular previously.
The number of chances taken by a student to clear the examination will also be mentioned in the mark-sheet.

The time of declaring the results has not been decided yet but it will most likely be declared after 12 pm.
Notably, about 4,50,000 had appeared in the 10th board examination.
Raipur. Last date of applying for revaluation, recalculation and observation of answer sheets of class 12th board examination held by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is today i.e. on May 9. Results were declared on May 9.
About 30,100 students have applied for revaluation while 2,500 for recalculation and 2,400 students for observation of answer sheets.
Significantly, after declaration of board examination results, students in a huge number raise questions on the valuation of answer sheets every year.
This year also, several students have applied for revaluation. Last date of applying for revaluation is May 24.
Board is expecting a large number of application this year.

About 2,50,000 students had appeared in the 12th board examination. Evaluation work which is now on the verge of completion has been under process since March 29 at the 30 centers of state.
Sources informed that the merit list of students from 12th has to be sent to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) before June 5 that is why Mashim is all prepared to release the results this month.
Raipur. Answer sheets of class 12th English medium will be evaluated at one center. Mashim is evaluating the answer sheets at one center in order to settle down the case of missing of five questions during the examination. Students will be given bonus marks after evaluation.
Evaluation of answer sheets of board examinations was started on March 29 for which 30 centers have been created all over state that includes 2 in Raipur.
However, the answer sheets of English medium are being evaluated at only one center.
It was informed that students who received Set-B and Set-C question paper had no issues with the questions.
Raipur. Final examinations for students affected by the Fake Board of School & Technical Education, Bilaspur will be conducted in July-August 2014.
These examinations will be conducted at the same time when students appearing in the examinations conducted by Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal these days will appear in their supplementary examination later in July & August.
School education secretary Dinesh Shrivastava informed that the future of students registered at the board that was suspended under the provisions of act of Mashim is being taken care of.
He later told that arrangements will be made for affected students which will allow them to appear in the supplementary examinations to be conducted later by Mashim.
