Bilaspur. A seminar on "Role of Teachers in Imparting Quality Education" was held at Chouksey Engineering College (CEC) recently. Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University Vice Chancellor Dr. B C Mal was the main speaker of the seminar. The programme commenced with lighting ceremonial lamp by the Vice Chancellor. CEC principal Dr. Malakar introduced the chief speaker to the audience. Head of Department, English Dr. Sheela Tiwari threw light on the topic of the seminar.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. B C Mal gave a brief account of new teaching methods. The Vice Chancellor emphasized on the need of moral values in teachers. Dr. B C Mal further stated that teachers have a great responsibility in shaping future of India. "Teachers, researchers and institutions engaged in teacher education should be brought on a common platform to share their ideas, information and experiences on various aspects of teacher education. Innovative ideas for the qualitative development of teacher educaiton should be shared," he added.

Dr. Sheela Tiwari proposed a vote of thanks. Director S N Choukse, Ashish Jaiswal, heads of departments an assistant professors attended the seminar.
