Durg. With the changes brought in the recruitment rules by State Government, about 441 non-B.Ed educated unemployed will get a chance of becoming Shikshakarmi Class - I (Lecturer Panchayat).

After the changes in rules, applications were invited from IIIrd class passed as well as Non-B.Ed candidates, of which 529 candidates are being given an opportunity for the vacant posts on basis of 1:3 ratio.

District Panchayat had invited applications for the vacant positions of Lecturer Panchayat in District Schools. On the basis of applications received, the recruitment was to be made on 159 of backlog and 601 new positions.

Candidates from about 15,000 applications were called for document verification back in November. Meanwhile, there were some changes made by State Government according to which, Non-B.Ed. as well as candidates passed in IIIrd class are being given a chance to apply for the vacant posts that failed to find eligible candidates.

Soon, on the same lines, District Panchayat has given an opportunity to the educated unemployed from district for which 1590 candidates have applied. Of which, about 529 B.Ed. & Non B.Ed. candidates were selected for document verification.

This information has been pasted on the notice board of District Panchayat as well as on the website.

Additional CEO of District Panchayat B.R.Joshi informed that the documents of newly selected candidtes will be verified on basis of 1:3 ratio on January 14 at District Panchayat.

Candidates whose names are not listed on the notice board even with higher marks may directly come to Distrct Panchayat for their document verification.

Selected candidates are being informed for document verification through post.
