CSVTU to hold workshop on 'Quality Initiatives in Engineering Institutions'
Bhilai. A Day-Long workshop on 'Quality Initiatives in Engineering Institutions' will be held at the Conference Hall of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University (CSVTU) Bhilai on January 22 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Experts invited from Equate (Effective Quality Upgradation Assistance for Technical Education) New Delhi will be delivering lecture on the above topic.
CSVTU in this regard has posted a letter to all the Principals and Director of all affiliated colleges and has asked their participation in the workshop. The participation fee is Rs. 2,000 per college that has to be paid on or before January 17. CSVTU has also asked the colleges to maintain punctuality in participation along with making arrangements of stay for the participants coming from outside Bhilai.
The workshop is expected to create awareness on objective and outcome based learning
It will also be helpful in enhancing learning process through reforms along with effective institutional management through best practices, exposure to tolls of value education for better employability of pass outs and developing learning communities through 'My Kampus'.
The rapidly changing technology and globalisation have brought in opportunities and challengers for the country have transformed the expectations and roles of engineering education providers.
The profile of engineering education in 21st Century is transforming, requiring engineering institutions to be constantly agile to the need of the industry and for this the above workshop will definitely prove beneficial, informed Dr B C Mal, Vice-Chancellor CSVTU.
