Raipur. The executive council of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University has nominated the Chancellor and the former Administrative Officer of National University Of Planning & Administration (NUEPA) K.K.Chakravarty as the member of Vice-Chancellor Selection Committee.

This information will be forwarded to the president house. Mr. Chakravarty will be appearing in the meetings as the representative of PRSU for electing the new vice-chancellor thereafter.

The service period of the current Vice-Chancellor of PRSU Dr. Shiv Kumar Pandey is nearing to end which is why the selection committee is being formed.

Shri Chakravarty is looked up as an antiquarian in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. His role in the land of education has been prominent and admirable.

He served in different areas as Director of Mining, President of Mashim, President of Text Book Corporation, President of Vyapam and Additional Chief Secretary of School and Higher Education. He is the museum expert currently.

Generally, the selection committee for Vice-Chancellor consist of three members in any University. Each represents University, State Government and University Grants Commission (UGC).
