MBVB celebrates Sanskrit week based on 0 voters.
Bhilai. Mar Baselios School, Shanti Nagar has celebrated 'Sanskrit Week' in the Secondary and Higher Secondary classes on the directives of CBSE. In that respect, various programmes and competitions were organized from August 6, 2014 to August 13, 2014. The event commenced with lighting of the lamp, followed by Saraswati Vandanam. Programmes like Group Song, Speech, Poetry etc and competitions like short speech, Shloka Vadanam etc were conducted. The main objective of these competitions was to encourage students take more interest in Sanskrit language. All the students have shown keen interest in participating in these programmes.

Raipur. Ayush & Health Science University has extended the last date for submission of revaluation and retotalling form until August 22. This decision was taken by university considering the constant holidays that occurred over the last few days. Notably, the result of final examination was declared by university administration in 11 months one time.

Results of CG Madarsa Board declared based on 1 voters.
Raipur. Chhattisgarh Madarsa Board on Tuesday, declared the results of High School Correspondence, Higher Secondary Correspondence and other examinations. Result of High School Correspondence exam was 40.3%, Higher Secondary Correspondence was 81.1%, Urdu Adib 76.5%, Urdu Mahir 69.2%, Urdu Moallim 1st year 74.7% and Moallim 2nd year exam was 94.95. Examination was conducted at 20 centres of state. Results may be seen at the notice board of Madarsa Board office. Results may also be sent to the exam centres.
Nearly 16,684 aspirants appeared for Hostel Superintendent Group-D exam based on 1 voters.
Ambikapur. Nearly 16,684 aspirants of the district wrote the examination paper of Hostel Superintendent Group-D conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board on August 17. The examination was conducted at 35 centres in the district. District Administration has made wide range arrangements for the examination. Tight security arrangements were made at schools and colleges of the district besides busy thoroughfares. On the occasion, special directions were issued to the officials and employees of the administration for tranquil and proper conduction of the examination. As per information received, overall 17581 candidates have applied for the examination. Out of 17581 candidates, 16684 candidates were present while 897 candidates were absent. The examination was held in only single shift.
Around 15,000 students to appear for 'Mahapariksha Abhiyan' on August 26 based on 2 voters.
Korba. Preparations for the forthcoming 'Mahapariksha Abhiyan', which will be held on August 26 around the country has begun on war footing. Examination will be held in 441 centres between 10 am to 5 pm in the district. In this examination, the school drops out children above the age of 15 years will participate who were studying under Sampurna Saksharta Abhiyan, Uttar Saksharta, Padhna-Badhna Andolan and Satat Shiksha Karyakram. After the formal valuation of the examination, the Rashtriya Mukt Vidyalaya Sansthan, New Delhi will give a certificate to the students. Bhilai. Camps will be organized at all Government Schools of district to help issue caste certificate. Documents will be verified by Patwaris of area at the camp. The applications received from candidates will then be sent to SDM. Certificates will be ready within 20 days from the date of application. Collector R. Raipur. Girls in Chhattisgarh will now be entitled for free education in government polytechnic institutes as well. State Government has decided to provide exemption in tuition fee to even those girls who have taken admission in the academic session 2014-15 and those who are presently pursuing courses in these institutes. Living up to his promises in manifestos and budget announcements, Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has issued the orders regarding free education facility of girls in all government colleges of state, including the government engineering colleges as well. In the same sequence, government polytechnic institutes of state will be providing exemption in tuition fees to all girls. Raipur. Final phase of counseling for admission at the medical college of AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) is being conducted in New Delhi. Students for Raipur based AIIMS would also be selected during the same counseling. This would be the third batch at AIIMS medical college. There are 100 seats for MBBS at the college which was limited to 50 until last year. Officials informed that admission process will take place at room no. 2207 of medical college on August 30 between 9 am to 12 pm. Hostel will be allotted on August 31 at 11 am.

Raigarh. District Collector Mukesh Bansal has appointed seven nodal officers for proper conduction of Hostel Superintendent Category-D examination in the district. Examination would be conducted on August 17 by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur. According to information received here, nearly 74 examination centres have been made in the district including 54 centres in Raigarh block, three centres in Sarangarh block, seven centres in Pussore and 10 centres in Kharsia.
