The institute has started the B.Ed. Course from the Session 2007-08 and in the near future it will be developed as the Post Graduate Teaching and Research Centre. The institute will educate the trainee teachers in such a way that the teachers coming out of the Institution shall be capable of overhauling the personality of their students and shall also be capable to initiate in them the feeling of involvement and dedication for higher values of life.
Infrastructures & facilities:
- Campus and the Vivekananda Institute of Education is constructed in 3000 Sq
- The library has 1145 books, reference materials, surveys of education.
- In the campus of Vidyapeeth there is a big meditation hall just above the auditorium with 500 capacities.
- A big auditorium with a capacity of accommodate 500 audiences at a time.
- out door and indoor games facilities along with courts/fields and tracks suitable for sports and tournament. It is spread in 9000 Sq.mt. area.
- The Institute has Gymnasium facility for its trainees.
